Specialties //

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is also called deep muscle therapy or deep tissue therapy. It is an umbrella term for bodywork systems that work deeply into the muscles and connective tissue to release chronic aches and pains.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) –

A gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Using a soft touch, which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about, the weight of a nickel – practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it’s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Trigger Point Massage

Trigger point massage utilizes ischemic compression of individual areas of hypersensitivity in muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia. These trigger points are defined by their referral of pain to distant locations in muscles, connective tissues and organs. Janet Travell, M.D., pioneered trigger point therapy in the United States.

Raindrop Therapy

Drops of the purest nine essential oils are applied in a raindrop-like fashion along the spine followed by a light relaxation massage to encourage the body’s natural detoxification process while calming tension and anxiety

Pregnancy Massage –

Pregnancy massage is the massage of pregnant women (prenatal) and women after giving birth (postpartum). It addresses the special needs of pregnant women such as discomforts in the low back, feet and legs.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is applied to athletes to help them train and perform free of pain and injuries. Massage therapists blend classic Swedish strokes with such methods as compression, pressure-point therapy, cross-fiber friction, joint mobilization, hydrotherapy and cryotherapy (ice massage) to meet the special needs of high-level performers and fitness enthusiasts.

Yoga Therapy

Finally, a yoga class that’s truly for all levels of yogis, whether it’s your first or hundredth time practicing yoga! Our Foundational Yoga class is specifically designed to focus in on postural and structural alignment using foundational movements and poses.

The semi-private setting allows Mandy to customize each class to appropriately challenge each individual in attendance. This allows beginners to accustom themselves to the practice of yoga, while more advanced yogis can refine their core practice while also taking it to the next level If you’re new to yoga or haven’t practiced in a while, this is the class for you.

Each class focuses on a different aspect to yoga. Learn the basics so that you will feel comfortable to attend a large group class.
